Anul 2010 se anunţă un an de schimbări majore pe partea de algoritmi de SEO şi Search. Ultima relevanţă care a avut-o Google pentru acest subiect a fost în 2003. Google şi Inktomi au revoluţionat conceptele rangurilor.
Astfel:

This new “Search-o-morphis” brings factors into play which include site usability, site mobility, the presence of the site socially and also more and more offpage factors which go beyond tradiţional linking.
